Thanks to all who made it out to our December meeting and Holiday party.  We had a very nice time at Pizza King on Monday.  It was nice to see Howard, KC9JRW, in attendance after his move to Kansas. 

Here’s wishing everyone a very happy New Year and I’m looking forward to good year with the HCARC in 2011.

I just wanted to pass along a bit of good news in relation to the club.  As of today, the Henry County Amateur Radio has been re-affiliated with the ARRL.  The link on the ARRL website is as follows:  http://www.arrl.org/Groups/view/henry-county-arc-1/type:club

The affiliation provides us with some great benefits that we can take advantage of to help our club flourish including driving potential new members to our website and being a part of the club commission program.  A positive step in the right direction for the HCARC.

Due to the impending snow and corresponding Winter Weather Advisory, the breakfast and hidden transmitter hunt has been canceled.  There is no make-up date for this event so we will plan another hunt in the spring.  Stay safe and warm!!
